Great cause.  Great film.  Great site.

Not much else I can add.

Got an email from Cadbury today, informing me of the new “twisted” creme egg.  I can’t handle eating “the goo” but I have enjoyed some of the fresh advertising of late.

Drumming Gorilla it ain’t, but I’m impressed, once again, with the simplicity.  Love the “goo” voice, and the egg metamorphosis into a crazed, goo spitting bar.  The site is very well done, with an “enter to win.”  The good news for you “goo” fans, they are now available in stores…at least in the UK.

Spots air today during the Champions League Final.

Great moves by Cadbury.

I have always been intrigued with wood work.  I think it has something to do with my fond memories of sitting on the front porch with Grandad, watching his dog (ugly, a stray who wandered up one day…with which we all fell in love.  Yep his name was ugly…because he was.  Best dog I ever knew) perform multiple tricks for treats, and being mystified by his transformation of a simple stick into a masterpiece.  The Magic Hooey Stick was one of my favorites.  I wish I would have kept one.

My attempts at this creative expression have never quite met the expectations I had grown to aspire to in Grandad…but I digress.

Pete Goldlust has quite a knack for the absolute minutia of honing one of the more difficult mediums…wax crayons.  I find myself (once again) aspiring to his attention to simplistic detail.  I can’t imagine the time and effort that goes into each of these.  I’m sure he has quite the colorful cutting room floor.  My personal favorite would have to be the Gold Croc.

Sorry.  No Hooey Sticks.

I was sent this lovely little ad for the scifi channel (by EURO RSCG 4D) a couple of days ago, and I’m impressed with the overall direction.  I wanted to provide a nurturing environment for the squatty little critter, and nurse it back to confidence.  The tag is clever as well…”Open your heart to science fiction. Adopt Sci Fi.” I was certainly motivated. Probably not enough to actually tune into the Scifi Channel, but enough to be moved by great work.

The sender made the comment that the ad was better than the programing.

Hmmm.

Not being a Scifi Channel viewer myself, I can’t comment.  But, this ad (and a few others I’ve seen along the way) often pique my interest.

Maybe someday.  Ok…Probably not.
